Rimac has recently introduced an upgraded version of its already impressive Nevera EV – the Nevera R. This new electric supercar boasts mind-blowing acceleration, with the ability to go from 0 to 60mph in just 1.74 seconds. This makes it about a tenth of a second faster than its predecessor. With a whopping 2,107 horsepower under the hood, the Nevera R promises an exhilarating driving experience unlike any other.

Aside from its jaw-dropping acceleration, the Nevera R also features improved aerodynamics, more downforce, and better grip on the road. These enhancements contribute to the car’s impressive performance and handling capabilities. In fact, Rimac claims that the Nevera R was able to shave 3.8 seconds off the original Nevera’s lap time on the Nardo Ring, a renowned high-speed track in Italy owned by Porsche.

To experience the full potential of the Nevera R, drivers will need manufacturer oversight to unlock its top speed of 256mph. Without this oversight, the car is limited to 217mph. With a 108kWh battery, the Nevera R is expected to offer a range of approximately 250 miles under the European WLTP cycle. However, this range has yet to be officially certified.

While the Rimac Nevera R is undeniably impressive, the company has its sights set on other ventures as well. Rimac is looking to launch Croatian robotaxis in the near future, offering a glimpse into the potential future of transportation. With innovative technologies and cutting-edge designs, Rimac continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of electric vehicles.

The Rimac Nevera R represents a new pinnacle of performance and engineering in the world of electric supercars. With lightning-fast acceleration, enhanced aerodynamics, and impressive top speeds, the Nevera R is a true testament to Rimac’s commitment to innovation and excellence. As the automotive industry continues to evolve, Rimac stands at the forefront, leading the charge towards a more sustainable and exhilarating driving experience.
