Telegram, a popular instant messaging platform, recently unveiled a host of new features designed to improve the overall user experience. One of the key additions is the introduction of a new in-app browser with support for multiple tabs. This feature allows users to easily switch between different tabs, making it more convenient to browse the web within the Telegram app.

In addition to the new in-app browser, Telegram has also announced the ability for its 950 million monthly active users to gift Telegram Stars to friends and family. This feature provides users with the option to share this virtual currency with their loved ones, adding a new element of social interaction to the platform.

The new in-app browser also supports decentralized websites hosted on the Telegram Open Network (TON) on both mobile and desktop platforms. This means that users can access a wide range of websites directly within the Telegram app, without the need to switch to an external browser. Additionally, users can seamlessly switch between browsing and messaging without losing their progress on a webpage.

Another exciting addition is the Apps tab in the Search section, which allows users to browse through mini apps available on the platform. Users can explore new apps, view popular mini apps, and access a list of apps they already use. Developers can now upload video demos and screenshots for their apps, enhancing the browsing experience for users.

Content generated through mini apps, such as leaderboard snapshots and AI-generated videos, can now be shared as a Telegram Story directly from the mini app. Stories now feature a new animated weather widget, adding a fun and dynamic element to user-generated content. Additionally, users can now use the front flash when recording video stories with the front camera, brightening up the screen for better visibility.

Users can now select a cover for their video stories, allowing them to choose the image that appears at the front. This gives users more control over the presentation of their video content, creating a more personalized and engaging experience. These new video story features are available on both iOS and Android smartphones.

In addition to the mobile platform, the new in-app browser and mini apps tab features have also been introduced for macOS users as part of the July update. This expansion allows macOS users to enjoy the same enhanced browsing and app browsing experience as their mobile counterparts, further extending the reach of Telegram’s new features.

Overall, Telegram’s latest update brings a range of exciting features that are sure to enhance the user experience and make the platform more engaging and interactive for its millions of users. With new browsing capabilities, enhanced app browsing, and improved story sharing options, Telegram is evolving to meet the changing needs of its diverse user base.
