The all-hands meeting kicked off with a montage of viral tweets, including one by Keith Gill, followed by Yaccarino’s address from an X conference room named “eXtraordinary.” She focused on promoting live events on the platform and encouraged discussions about Musk’s x.AI chatbot Grok with advertisers. The emphasis on video as a driver of advertising revenue was mentioned, but without further details.
Plans for a New Promotion Process
X’s head of HR, Walter Gilbert, announced plans to implement a more comprehensive promotion process that includes check-ins throughout the year. However, many employee questions about HR, promotions, raises, and equity were left unanswered during the meeting. Despite being in San Francisco, Musk was notably absent, with other directors stepping in to join the discussion.
